How do I generate flashcards?
Enter a topic, choose an AI model, and hit Generate. Your flashcards will appear instantly. You can also paste your own notes and the AI will create cards based on your content.
What AI models are available?
Free users get access to Claude. Student and Pro plans unlock ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini as well. You can select multiple models at once to compare results.
How many flashcards can I generate?
Free accounts get 3 generations per month. Student plans get 30 per month. Pro and Lifetime Pro plans get unlimited generations.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to the Premium page in the app and click "Manage billing." This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel anytime. You'll keep access through the end of your billing period.
Can I export my flashcards?
Yes! Student and Pro users can export decks to CSV and Anki format. Pro users also get PDF export with formatted cards ready to print.
What is Quiz mode?
Quiz mode lets you test yourself on any saved deck. Type your answer and AI grades it in real time, giving you feedback and a score. Available on Student and Pro plans.
How does the referral program work?
Share your unique referral link from the sidebar. When a friend signs up using your link, you both get 3 bonus generations added to your account.
Is my data safe?
Your flashcard decks are stored locally on your device. Account data is encrypted and payments are securely handled through Stripe. We never store your payment information.
🛠 Troubleshooting
If you're experiencing issues, try these steps first:
- Clear your browser cache or do a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R)
- Make sure you're using a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
- Check your internet connection — AI generation requires an active connection
- If a generation fails, try a different AI model or simplify your topic
- For payment issues, check the Stripe billing portal under Premium
